Gardening: starting a vegetable garden and harvesting our first cherry tomatoes
Hello there!
Time flies… we have spent last weeks working in the garden. We have planted lots of tomatoes, some salads, cucumbers, courgettes, aubergines, melons, rocket… It has been quite a challenge to find the time to spend it in the garden, considering that we only are able to do it during weekends and that we have two babies. All young parents, you must know what we are speaking about, right?
Vegetables are already growing up well, specially salads and tomatoes. We still have to plant potatoes to complete our summer mission, but the rest of the garden is ready now.
This morning, we went with the kids to the garden and we harvested first cherry tomatoes for Sacha. Well, it’s true, we have not had a huge tomatoes harvest yet, but it has been enough to make him smile while eating fresh vegetables from our own garden for the first time.
We have even made a scarecrow with Sacha too, who gave her the name of “Madame Rigolotte”. If you would like to know how to make a scarecrow for your garden by yourself, stay tuned, as we’ll share it in a new post.
You all, have a great day.
Love,
Xxx.
